Members of the St. John's Boys Cross Country team, Beloit Sophomores Hannah & Hayley Burks and Sylvan-Lucas Sophomore Autumn Princ have been named the NCKSSports.com/Cunningham Telephone and Cable Athletes of the Week.

St. John's won their 2nd straight 1A State Cross Country title this past Saturday, finishing with 19 points, ahead of St. John-Hudson, who finished with 44 points.  Senior David Lutgen won the individual state title with a time of 16:22.30.  Other members of the team that finished in the top 10 were Caleb Eilert (5th, 17:22.80), Adam Bates (6th, 17:23.20) and Brandon Bates (8th, 17:39.50).

Hannah Burks of Beloit won the 3A Girls individual state title with a time of 19:10.30 in the 5K.  Her twin sister Hayley Burks finished in 2nd place with a time of 20:07.08.

Autumn Princ literally ran away with the 1A Girls individual state championship.  Her time of 18:37.10 was a minute and 33 seconds better than the 2nd place finisher.  It was the second straight season that Princ has won the 1A individual state title.
