Thunder Ridge Senior Elizabeth Hardacre has been named the Telephone and Cable Athlete of the Week.

Hardacre has had an outstanding volleyball career at Thunder Ridge and at the Rock Hills Tournament on September 29, she surpassed 1,000 career kills.  In the five matches on the day, she registered 58 kills.  She also had a combined 31 kills in two matches last Tuesday at the Sylvan-Lucas Triangular, with 20 kills in a tough three-set loss to Sylvan-Lucas.  Going into Tuesday's triangular in Kensington, Hardacre had 307 kills on the season, averaging 5.7 per set with an very efficient .473 hitting percentage, which is the highest recorded hitting percentage in all classes in the state.  She also had 45 aces and is serving at a 94% clip and was leading the Lady Longhorns with 44 blocks this season.
