Perez ran for a career high 209 yards on 11 carries (18.9 ypc) and scored three touchdowns on the ground in St. John's/Tipton's 60-0 win over Lakeside on the gridiron Friday night in Beloit.  He was also a ball hawk on defense, being personally responsible for three takeaways as he had two interceptions and recovered a fumble that he forced himself on a Lakeside kickoff return.  Perez has now run for over 100 yards in four of the seven games this season for the Blujays.  He leads the team with 720 rushing yards and is averaging just under ten yards per carry.  He also has ten touchdown runs and had a kickoff return for a touchdown earlier this season against Southern Cloud.  On defense, Perez has 38 tackles, two tackles for loss, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

We will announce the winners each week. Remember, you can nominate an athlete from any school sport.
