On Wednesday, Thunder Ridge Senior Mariah Stauffer signed her National Letter of Intent to compete in Track & Field at Fort Hays State University at the collegiate level.

Stauffer has been one of the top high jumpers in the state in Class 1A since she reached high school.  She has placed in the Top 10 at the KSHSAA state meet every year of her career so far in the event.  As a freshman she took 9th, then finished 3rd as a sophomore and 4th as a junior last season.
