Thunder Ridge Senior Reece Struckhoff signed his letter of intent on Wednesday to play football at the NCAA DII level at Fort Hays State University.  Struckhoff excelled on both sides of the ball during his breakout senior season, but has been recruited to play LB for the Tigers.

After sitting out his junior season due to transfer, Struckhoff exploded onto the scene in 2019.  He ran for 2,167 yards and 47 TD and was named a 1st team all-state RB and was the 8-Man DII District 5 offensive player of the year.  On defense, he led the Longhorns with 166 tackles.  Struckhoff has also been selected to play in the Kansas 8-Man All-Star Game in Beloit on June 13.
