St. John's Catholic High School senior Brayden Perez signed his letter of intent to play football at the collegiate level at Bethany College on Wednesday.

Perez was a 1st team all-district performer at RB and KR this past season for the Blujays.  He ran for 1,280 yards and 24 TD and finished with 1,781 all-purpose yards and 29 total TD.  On defense, he registered 141 tackles and four fumble recoveries as a senior.  From his sophomore through senior seasons, Perez ran for just under 3,000 yards and 61 TD.  He finished his high school career with 4,589 all-purpose yards and 72 total TD while adding 351 total tackles on defense.
