St. John's senior guard Grant Deneke has been named the NCKS Sports.com/Cunningham Telephone & Cable Athlete of the Week. 
   
Deneke tallied 21 points to help lead St.John's to a 54-53 overtime win on Tuesday in Lincoln. Deneke recorded his 4th double-double of the season in just 6 games. For the season, Deneke is averaging a double-double with a 14.7 scoring average and a 10.1 rebounding average.
