Read on for others who were nominated this week.
Other Nominees:

Braden Sahlfeld of Beloit High School. As the person who nominated him put it so very well, "Braden  is a hard working young man; he sets his goals, and then really works hard to achieve them. He works with and supports his wrestling teammates well. His goal this year in wrestling was to try and win most of his matches, place at the regional tournament, and qualify for state. His great work ethics paid off this season. He went undefeated in league wrestling at 112 lbs. He made first team all-league, and also placed 6th at the state tournament. This young man set foot on the wrestling mat for the first time three years ago as a freshman in high school. He has accomplished a lot in this short amount of time. GREAT JOB BRADEN."

Zach Brummer of Beloit High School. Brummer is only a sophomore and starts for the #2 seed in the 3A Sub-State Tournament. Zach continues to improve with each and every basketball contest. On Feb. 23rd, Brummer scored a career high 23 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, while shooting 10-13 from the floor in a 61-50 win at Smith Center.
