Thunder Ridge senior Cade Rietzke has been named the NCKS Sports.com/Cunningham Telephone & Cable Athlete of the Week.

Rietzke helped lead the 8-Man Division I West All-Star Team to a 32-24 victory over the East All-Stars on Saturday in Beloit.  Rietzke completed 6 of his 8 passes for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns. His 28 yard touchdown strike to Macksville's Evan Loomis with 1:05 left to play in the 4th quarter broke a 24-24 tie and ended up being the game winner!

Rietzke had an incredible senior season for Thunder Ridge, completing 64 percent of his passes for over 1,600 yards and threw 28 touchdown passes.  Cade will take his football talent to Garden City Community College this fall.
