Beloit' s lead ballooned to 12-4 in the bottom of the 4th thanks to an RBI single by Koster and then Loomis greeted reliever Zach DeMars with a clutch two run single to give Beloit an eight run cushion. Clifton-Clyde made things interesting with a 4 run 5th to pull within 12-8, but that would be as close as they would get as Beloit added an insurance run in the bottom of the 6th and Lance Wolting closed the game on the mound. Wolting got the win in relief of Zach Brummer, to improve his record to 9-3 on the year.
