In game two a team made up of players from Hutchinson and Nickerson defeated the Rim Rattlers 47 to 43. Dani Pounds gave the team a spark and Blair Bloomfield had a big game!
Berean Academy in the next game couldn't slow up Kresin who made 3 three point shots in consecutive possessions. Bloomfield had another good game and Brown did a good job leading the team on the fastbreak!
Sunday morning started with a 55 to 10 victory over Pratt. Amanda Fleming, Maggie Leonard, and Kinley Kee led the team to the win.
The semi-final match-up was with the Dream Team which has been dominating most tournaments this summer. Cami Engelbert was the key to the teams performance with her play inside along with Kee. Brown did a super job running the offense and Kresin and Farris were too good on offense for the Dream Team leading the Rim Rattlers to a 56 to 50 win!
The championship game was against Newton and a 6'6 center. Engelbert and Kee did a good job keeping her from the bucket, and Kresin and Farris once again had excellent offensive games as the Kansas Rim Rattlers won the championship game of the Hutchinson MAYB tournament 43 to 41 over Newton!
The next tournament will be in two weeks in Salina followed by the national MAYB tournament in Oklahoma City!
