The Kansas Rim Rattlers have been named the NCKS Sports.com/Cunningham Telephone & Cable Athletes of the Week.

The Rim Rattlers won the Hutchinson Mid America Youth Basketball tournament this past weekend.  The team is made up of the following players; Vanessa Kresin and Kinley Kee of St. John's, Bailey Brown and Cami Engelbert of Beloit High.  Jenna Farris of Lincoln, Amanda Fleming from Rock Hills, Dani Pounds of Sylvan Grove, Maggie Leonard of Marysville, and Blair Bloomfield from Clifton-Clyde. 
 
The team won five of 6 games including the championship game against Newton making their summer record 15 and 2. 
   
The Rim Rattlers next tournament will be in two weeks in Salina followed by the national MAYB tournament in Oklahoma City!
