It was a beautiful day at the Concordia Cross Country Meet as the Beloit High Girls started their season up. Republic County, Concordia, Riley County, Clay Center, and Smith Center were the other teams present. Kim Mealiff was the only varsity runner who placed 17th with a time of 19:04. Freshman Amber Robinson brought home the 2nd place medal in the junior varisty race and Aspen Davis placed 15th in the junior varsity race. There were a total of 46 runners. I was very pleased for the first race of the season, "states Coach Isbell." The Beloit Cross Country team will be traveling to Rock Hills on September 9th.
