Lincoln Freshman Jenna Farris has been named the NCKS Sports.com/Cunningham Telephone & Cable Athlete of the Week.    

 At the Sub-State Tournament at Clay Center, Farris had a tourney that players dream of. Farris exploded for 45 points in a sub-state semifinal win over Clifton-Clyde and on Saturday in the Sub-State Championship, Farris erupted for another 36 points in a win over Bern that put the Leopards into the 1A State Touranment in Hays.  During the two games Farris scored 81 of her team's 114 points, averaged 9 rebounds, and went 26-32 from the foul line. On the season, Farris has had five 30 point plus games and averages 23.5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists per game and is shooting 48% from the floor and 79% from the foul line.
