Rock Hills Senior Danica Frost has been named the NCKSSports.com/Cunningham Telephone and Cable Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Frost erupted for 36 points in Rock Hills' 76-57 win over Lakeside on Friday night in the 1A-DI Sub-State quarterfinals.  Frost bested her previous career high of 22 points by 14 as she shot 12-20 from the floor, 8-13 from the free throw line and 4-8 from beyond the three-point arc.  She also tied for the team lead with four steals in helping her team advance to the semifinals of Sub-State.  On the season, Frost is now averaging 10.8 ppg and shooting 39% from the floor and 67% from the free throw line, while making a team-high 27 three-pointers for the Lady Grizzlies.  She is also averaging 3.5 apg and 2.5 spg for Rock Hills.
